Description

On a few occasions, I've had to press the reset button in order to get the BBB to boot. I am running the 1/22 image with a custom kernel (recompiled slight changes to tsc files in kernel 3.8.13-bone37) on an uSD card. The eMMC has an Ubuntu image.

I had the BBB unplugged overnight. I plugged it in and it didn't light up the 4 LEDs at all (power LED was on). I pushed the reset button and it booted to the uSD card just fine. I don't, and didn't, have to hold the boot button in order to get it to boot to the uSD.

Not sure if it was something I did, by updating the zImage under uboot, or if it is part of the previous calling of "sudo shutdown -h now".

History

After calling "sudo reboot" about 20 times during the course of the day, today, it hung up again.

Pressing "reset" button brings it back to life.

Is this still a valid open bug?
